New Medicine Service

This free NHS service is delivered by Pharmacy2U pharmacists. It’s available for certain new medicines and health conditions, and is designed to help you get the most from yours or your loved one’s new medicine. A pharmacist can discuss any questions you have about the new medicine, advise on side effects, and refer you to your GP if they think a review is needed.
How it works:
  • Pharmacy2U will invite you to book a call at a time when it’s convenient for you. You’ll receive your invite after they’ve sent a new medicine that qualifies you for this service.
  • You can discuss any questions about your new medicine with the pharmacist.
  • The pharmacist will call you again after 2 weeks to check on your progress and offer any advice.
  • The pharmacist will refer you to your GP if they think your medicine needs reviewing.
