Sibstar is the first debit card and app designed specifically for vulnerable adults, helping them manage everyday money safely, while retaining their independence.

Load the Sibstar debit card with money then, within the app, manage how and where that money is used. Set daily and monthly and ATM spending limits, switch on/off online and phone use, instantly freeze or unfreeze the card, and receive real-time notifications every time it’s used, showing how much was spent, when, and where.

All this functionality can be changed instantly and remotely, allowing Sibstar to adapt to a person’s changing needs. Sibstar gives vulnerable adults control over their own money, while providing peace of mind to families.

Sibstar was founded by Jayne Sibley, inspired by her personal experience caring for her parents, both of whom lived with dementia and were affected by fraud and money mismanagement.

Today, Sibstar is partnered with Alzheimer’s Society, Santander, and Mastercard, is multi-award winning, and proudly secured investment from Sara Davies and Deborah Meaden on BBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Our mission is simple: to ensure all vulnerable adults can spend their money for themselves, by themselves, safely, confidently, and in a supported way, so they can live life the way they choose.
