Carents® wins national ‘Fairer Opportunities’ award

We’re delighted to share that Carents® has won the Fairer Opportunities award as part of the Cadent Congratulates Awards – recognising our commitment to making life fairer and more supported for adult children caring for ageing parents.

Our award-winning initiative was selected for its role in creating fairer opportunities for women and carers, through a free digital platform that offers trusted support, expert advice and a connected community.

A growing – and often invisible – caring role

Across the UK, millions of adults are quietly juggling jobs, raising families, and supporting ageing parents. Most of them are women. The physical, emotional and financial toll can be huge – and many feel unseen and under-supported.

Carents® exists to change that.

With support from Cadent, we’ve developed a digital platform offering free support, information and resources tailored specifically for adult children caring for elderly parents. It’s a space designed to provide carents with practical advice, expert insight and a strong sense of community.

Together, we’re helping to create fairer opportunities for those who give so much of themselves every day – often without recognition.

We’re delighted that this work has been recognised with a national award, and we’re grateful to Cadent for their continued support in helping us reach even more carents across the UK.

Here for you, so you can be there for them

This award is a huge honour – and a reminder of just how important carents are. It shines a light on the vital, and often invisible, role that adult children play in keeping our ageing population safe and well.

We’re proud to have our work recognised and even prouder to serve this remarkable community.

Thank you to Cadent for believing in our mission and helping us build fairer opportunities for those who give so much, so selflessly.
